This kitchen/dining room has been designed for a social family, for whom getting together with their nearest and dearest is a priority.

The living space belongs to a Swedish family. Maja, her husband Marcus and their son Pellé. The couple loves having their friends over for dinner frequently and trying out new recipes. One of their favorites is sushi.

Current activity: The family invites their neighbors and their teenage son over for a sushi night.

The use of accent colors inspired by summer sports with white surroundings gives this modern room a fresh, new style and a cool, calm atmosphere. The clean look with graphic patterns gives the room a unique style. The plan is an open kitchen with ample space to cook and serve.

Generous and inviting soft seating for pre-dinner socializing, and a cozy spot for the teens to relax and recharge. A flexible dining area connected to the generous kitchen is perfect for this family who love to spend time around the table. Open storage on wheels is used to carry food to the table or bar. The charging area is located far away from the social areas so everyone can disconnect while their phone gets charged. A lit-up menu on the wall gives the room a restaurant feeling.
