An extra room in the house makes a great guest room. The 11.5 sqm bedroom is good enough for one to two people.
A western couple, in their 50s, visiting Qatar occupies this guest bedroom. With intentions of experiencing the local culture and aesthetics, they choose a guest house that follows the design and feel of that in a local household.

The traditional styled guest bedroom has dark colors and tones incorporated into it to create an intimate mood. With the main furniture being grey, the HAUGA family, the accent color of this room is red which is achieved by the textiles in the room. A group of light fixtures add elegance to the space with their gold color and glass material. The walls of the room have been neatly framed with wood moldings and within which the furniture and accessories, such as a collage of frames, are fixed.
The bed is laid in the center of the room giving enough room for wardrobes and other storage units to be placed around. The wardrobe chosen for this room is one that slides making it convenient in small spaces.
