WORK REMOTE

design & implementation by Theekshi

Ever since the pandemic hit, many had to make many changes to their routines, adapt to a new way of living and have their stay at home safe and comfortable. New solutions for improving living space have been created to enable people to work, study and be creative remotely.

The story of this room centers around a family of five who adapt to a new lifestyle during the pandemic. The dad, who is a college professor, the mother, a yoga instructor and three children ages 13, 7 and 4.

The style of this living room is Scandinavian modern. The main colors of this room are sage, white, beige and a touch of blush pink. Birchwood finishes of the furniture and accessories give a Nordic vibe along with the sage green and white tones chosen for the walls of the interior. Other items made out of natural materials have been added to the mix.

Even though the main area of the living room is for seating, each member of the family can spend time in their own dedicated spaces. A corner office, section to do yoga and store its equipment, a play table and space under the staircase for a study corner.

Current activity: The dad is preparing for upcoming lectures at his office, the mom is shooting her yoga tutorials while the three kids relax on the couch watching cartoons.
